Today's wine is a staple of the New Zealand Wine scene. Almost a household name, Kim Crawford produces fantastic wines. The 2009 Sauvignon Blanc is another great showing, pouring a yellow green and has a huge nose of citrus and tropical fruit. On the palate there is the expected grapefruit, pineapple, some slate and a nice acidic finish. This is a great wine for light meals and appetizers. When the weather warms up pick up a bottle and cool down!
