Today's wine is another South American gem! Grown in Mendoza, Argentina, the Carlos Basso Sauvignon Blanc 2009 is a fantastic summer wine. Pouring a golden straw, there is a ton of tropical fruit and herbal notes on the nose. On the palate it displays bright acidity, more tropical fruit, a hint of citrus and some grass. This is a bright wine that sees no oak and is perfect on a hot summer day. Pick some up and enjoy!
