Foris Gewurztraminer 2007

Lately I've received many requests at the store for Gewurztraminer and have brought in a few great examples. Today's wine is one of those, Foris Gewurztraminer 2007. Its a dry version from Rouge Valley in Oregon, definitely reminiscent of Alsace. All estate grown, this is just a great wine from Foris. It pours a nice golden color and has beautiful rose, citrus and some spice on the nose. On the palate there is a crisp acidity and nice peach, green apple, tropical fruit and a hint of ginger. This is a phenomenal wine for spicy food! Pick up this new addition to the stock and you wont be disappointed!
