Well today began as another beautiful day and with it comes more white wine! Today I want to share with you a perennial favorite at the store, Domaine du Pouy 2008 Cotes du Gascogne. Produced in the same area of France that provides us with Armingac in the southwest of the country. It pours a light straw color and has clover, herbs, grass, and pineapple on the nose. On the palate it is bright, pleasant and ripe. There is a great acidity that makes this wine perfect for light summer fare. Stop in and pick some up to refresh you while this weather is here!
