Well another great Saturday behind us and more good wine to share with you. Today its the Twenty Bench Cabernet Sauvignon 2007 coming from the Napa Valley in California. This is such a great value for a Napa Cab its almost funny! It pours a dark, almost black purple with great blackberry, currant and a touch of herbaciousness on the nose. On the palate this is silky smooth with the dark berries shining through followed by some strawberry and chocolate with a nice tannin structure to give it some punch. This is a wine that drinks great now and will continue to improve for a few years. While it isn't an every day wine, the Twenty Bench Cabernet Sauvignon 2007 is a steal and really competes with wines that are twice as expensive. A great wine as a gift for a friend or yourself, pick up a few today and be ready if something comes up!
